FOUR-PHASE METHOD IN ESP LISTENING: APPLYING TOPIC-BASED DIALOGUE-INTERVIEWS FOR INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The paper presents the result of a research into issue four-phase method ESP listening using topic-based dialogue-interview which contributes to development communicative competence IR students Saint Petersburg State University. Different aspects are studied through an attempt identify students’ difficulties in and role sociocultural component method. effectiveness is evaluated by means survey conducted among International Relations Faculty demonstrates that eliminate lexical unawareness develop competence.
